What do you use to pack?
Thick double-wall boxes, fresh newsprint and bubble wrap, dedicated cartons for dishes and mirrors, and wardrobe boxes so clothes ride on their hangers. Each carton is labeled by room, which keeps the unload quick and keeps anything from going missing.
How much will my move cost?
The total tracks two things: how much you are moving and how tough the access is. Two movers and a truck run $125/hr locally, and you get an itemized estimate in writing before anyone lifts a box. Prefer certainty? Lock a flat cap and the number you sign becomes the most it can ever be. Out-of-state jobs price by weight and distance.
Is there anything you won’t move?
A short list, mostly for safety and legal reasons: flammables and chemicals like propane, paint, and gasoline, plus ammunition, live plants, food that can spoil, and pets. If a piece is unusually large, heavy, or valuable, mention it when you book so the right crew and equipment show up.
What if something gets broken?
Careful wrapping keeps it uncommon, but when something does go wrong we note it right there on your inventory and open the claim that same day. Ahead of the move we walk you through released versus full-value protection, so there are no surprises about how a claim gets handled.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
No trouble at all. Give us at least two days’ notice to shift your date or call it off, and your deposit comes back in full. Each of these terms is written plainly into your booking, so there is nothing to second-guess down the road.
